My Independence Journey

A New Beginning on the 4th of July

There’s something symbolic about starting a new chapter on Independence Day. This year, the 4th of July marks the beginning of my personal independence journey—a path toward achieving physical, mental, and emotional freedom. As an Army Veteran, college and grad school graduate, and more- I worked to have the Independence and Freedom to live the life I truly want and in the next few months I am forging forward and using President Trump’s advice because if he can go through all he went through with the lies and underhanded ways- I want to become the role model that he is in NEVER GIVING UP!

Milestones Achieved

Physical Fitness

One of my earliest milestones was improving my physical health. Regular workouts, a balanced diet, and a commitment to staying active have transformed not just my body, but my outlook on life. The newfound energy and resilience I’ve gained are invaluable as I tackle other aspects of my independence.

As I lost opportunities I gained pounds I want to shed in the up and coming months. And I ask for help in this from others as well.

Mental and Emotional Well-being

Mental health is just as crucial as physical health. Through therapy, mindfulness practices, and a supportive network of friends and family, I’ve been able to manage stress and maintain a positive attitude. Emotional well-being has been an ongoing focus, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

Getting that upgrade in discharge will be key to helping me here, as it will help me move forward to where I keep working to be.

Business Aspirations

Launching my own business has been a dream come true. It’s not just about financial independence; it’s about creating something meaningful that can support my loved ones, including my mother and my dogs. Whether my business grows into a full-time endeavor or complements a stable job, I’m committed to making it successful.

Never Giving Up

Inspired by President Donald Trump’s advice to “never give up,” I’ve faced challenges head-on. This mindset has been particularly important in my fight to upgrade my army discharge status from Other Than Honorable (OTH) to Honorable. My Command Sergeant Major (CSM) and Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) believed in me, and wanted me to get the Honorable discharge but felt if they kept me throughout the holidays they would return to a lost soldier after all I was put through!

Future Goals

Financial Stability

Financial independence remains a key goal. I aim to achieve this through both my business and /or career endeavors. By securing a stable income, I can provide a comfortable life for myself, my mother, and my pets and family home!

Continued Health Improvements

Health and self-care will continue to be priorities. Ongoing improvements in my physical, mental, and emotional well-being will ensure I have the strength and resilience needed to face future challenges. From weight loss to upgrade in my discharge.

Army Discharge Upgrade

The fight to upgrade my army discharge status is ongoing. Ensuring my military service is recognized and honored appropriately is not just a personal goal—it’s a matter of justice and respect.

Positive Mindset

Maintaining a positive and determined mindset will be crucial. Life will undoubtedly throw challenges my way, but with resilience and optimism, I’m confident I can overcome them.
